About the event
This workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of landscape painting, with particular emphasis on skies and clouds. Participants will begin with fundamental pastel exercises designed to help loosen up and build their confidence in various skill sets. These exercises serve as a foundation before moving on to individual work from each participant's own landscape reference material.
In this workshop participants are encouraged to develop or follow their own unique style, recognising that everyone possesses their own artistic approach. Amanda will provide extensive one-on-one guidance, working to enhance participants' strengths and assist with areas requiring improvement. Throughout the session, she will demonstrate specific elements from the landscape—especially clouds—and offer guidance tailored to each participant’s chosen subject. Attendees can expect a wealth of useful information, practical tips, and valuable pointers throughout the workshop.
