Inspired by the spectacular New South Wales coastline, Alex Gower creates vibrant pastel artworks celebrating the movement, light and beauty of the natural world. After a lifelong passion for art and a return to painting in the early 2000s, he now specialises in expressive seascapes, landscapes and occasional commissioned art work.

Denise's paintings depict a strong sense of clear vibrant colour, her inspiration stems from a love of Nature and the desire to recreate its beauty.  Birds, lizards, outback Australia and beach scenes all feature in some of her paintings;  she enjoys painting realism as well as the abstracted form.  Denise paints in a variety of media and is never limited in her choice of subject, which included a portrait of the late Peter Brock (signed by Peter).

Some of Denise's prize winning paintings have featured in Australian Artist Magazine and are  placed in private collections in Australia and overseas.

Born in Japan, the artist nurtured a lifelong passion for painting before migrating to Australia in 1997. After two decades running a certified organic farm, retirement rekindled an artistic journey through soft pastels. Now living by the water, they capture nature’s beauty, fulfilling a cherished childhood dream of painting beside the sea.

A dedicated pastel artist, they have studied for over twelve years with acclaimed artist Grace Paleg and attended workshops with leading Australian artists. A member of the South Coast Pastel Society, they specialise in still life, landscapes, seascapes and portraits, earning several awards and commendations for their pastel paintings.

Kathy Smoker is an accomplished Sydney pastel artist renowned for expressive seascapes, landscapes and portraits. Inspired by light, movement and the Australian coastline, she combines technical skill with vibrant colour. An award-winning exhibitor and active member of several art societies, she continues to share her passion through exhibitions and commissions.

Employed as Graphic Artist in Melbourne, Victoria I specialised in work to be printed on linen, Confined to using only eight colours (my designs were of Australian birds and flowers)
Today the multitude of pastel hues still delights me.
Now my passion is the painting of the human body, to capture from simply using shadow and light then I will see a reflected light on a flower or the colour of a birds wing and I have renewed hope to translate that moment into my painting.

Award winning Malua Bay Artist Lyn Woolridge has worked in many mediums and has twice been featured in the Australian Artist Magazine

Lyn is best known for her pastel paintings of seascapes and rivers, capturing the changing moods of the sea and the play of light on the water and the wet sand.

Her award winning paintings hang in many homes and collections in Australia, Canada, USA, UK, Hong Kong, China.

My art journey has been a long learning curve, starting with oils and over time developing into a Multi Media Artist.  Exploration of applications, styles, subject matter and diversity are important and showcased in my works. From Pastel to Mixed Media my colour palette varies according to my mood. I have had the fortune to win numerous awards, participated in group & solo exhibitions,  National Exhibition finalist and a featured guest artist.   I am a member of the Sth Coast Pastel Society, Creative Arts Batemans Bay and Queanbeyan Art Society.  My works are found both nationally and internationally.

Born in Goulburn, NSW, in 1934, Warren began pastel painting in 1996. Inspired by local landscapes, he paints en plein air, exhibits with the South Coast Pastel Society, and has completed commissions across Australia and overseas.
